CREATE A WELCOMING HOME BAR
Create a Welcoming Home Bar Include an Indoor Water Feature
How Many Times Have You Thought You Need Something To Make Your Home Bar Stand Out From Your Buddies - An Indoor Water Wall Feature May Be Your Answer.
As a home bar owner it is safe to assume that you want to create an atmosphere within your home that is inviting, unique and relaxing. After all, it's what a home bar is really all about. It's truly about creating atmosphere. Atmosphere where friends and family alike can enjoy a drink, just kick back and let the worries and pressures of daily life slip away. The unique decor item I discuss below will help enhance any home bar and bring a sense of relaxation and uniqueness.
An indoor fountain can provide what I have described above. You can easily create a subtle, peaceful ambiance within your home bar that isn't tacky or necessarily main stream. You can add a piece of style that has typically been in high-end bars, restaurants and hotels. An indoor fountain can really mean anything from a small table top unit on the bar itself, a floor standing model or a wall-mounted unit behind the bar.
As I have already alluded to, an indoor fountain can really fit a multitude of decors. Just like a clock can take on almost any size or shape and convey a particular "feel" there are many different styles of indoor fountains. Typically the materials used help determine how the fountain will fit within your existing décor. But before running out and getting one, first make sure it fits into the plan and layout of your bar.
It is important that the unit blends with your desired theme and that it does not conflict with, but rather enhances the ambiance of the room. You might be saying "Well that's a no-brainer". But it is amazing how many times someone will try to incorporate a particular piece of art or picture because they really like it or because it holds special meaning but all the while it is screaming, "I don't fit in here!" Ultimately the choice is yours. If that is what you want, go for it. Just remember when creating ambiance all the décor items must tie together and fit the mood you are trying to create.
How about taking it a step further and having a custom water feature incorporated right into your bar itself. An interior wall waterfall backdrop is a stunning way to feature your basement bar. Imagine a custom glass backdrop illuminated with custom color lights behind your display of bottles and glasses behind the bar. Better yet you could have your name or special image etched in the glass as a focal point to the piece. Now, tell me your buddies have that in their basement! I bet you can't, because they likely don't.
You will be amazed at the general appeal these units have. Both the sights and sounds of moving water are not only relaxing but also somewhat mesmerizing. After all, if you think about it, who doesn't enjoy the natural sights and sounds of flowing water? Further, because they are not yet a mainstream item not all your buddies will have one in their bar and it doesn't hurt to get one up on them when you get the chance. Plus here's a bonus, there is no denying they do add a unique sense of romance and have been considered rather sexy. How's that for added value?
Think about it. An indoor water feature may be just the item to help spruce up your special abode and move you up from having an average home bar to having an exceptional home bar.
